Job description
Production Planning & Execution
- Implement daily and weekly production schedules as per order requirements.
- Ensure adherence to the companys 10-Day Dispatch motto by monitoring progress against plans.
Process & Quality Control
- Supervise fabrication, assembly, and finishing processes (metal, wood, corrugated plastic, etc.).
- Maintain quality standards by aligning production with reference drawings, PDFs, and client specifications.
- Support in root cause analysis and corrective actions for defects.
Resource & Team Management
- Guide and support production supervisors and workers to achieve daily targets.
- Ensure optimal utilization of machines, tools, and manpower.
- Drive a 5S culture (Sort, Set, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) on the shop floor.
Efficiency & Cost Control
- Identify bottlenecks and suggest improvements in cycle times and workflows.
- Monitor material usage to minimize wastage.
- Track and report production KPIs (output, rejection rate, downtime).
Coordination & Reporting
- Collaborate with design, procurement, and logistics teams for smooth operations.
- Provide timely reports on production status, challenges, and progress.
Requirement
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
- Atleast 2 years experience in manufacturing, preferably in furniture, displays, or sheet metal/wood fabrication industries.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, material handling, and quality standards.
- Good leadership and people-management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and production tracking tools.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
